Procedure for Product Return


  1. Contact us at 302-894-0699 or 1-800-537-2296 or via email at fiberlink@versitron.com to obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. All products being returned require an RMA number.
  1. Return the product to us with shipping charges pre-paid to:
    • VERSITRON, Inc.
    • 83 Albe Drive
      Suite C
    • Newark, DE 19702
    • Attn: RMA #                (insert RMA # you were issued)
  • Make sure the unit is packaged carefully so as to prevent any damage during shipment.
  • Include a written description of the defect and any symptoms exhibited by the unit.
  • Include any power supplies and accessories with the unit being returned.
  • Return window is 30 Days.
  1. Upon receipt of the product, we will perform a diagnostic evaluation and testing to determine the cause of the failure and if the failure is covered under the scope of the warranty.
  1. If the failure is covered by the warranty we will, at our option, repair or replace the unit. We pay the shipping charges to send the unit to you.
  1. If the failure is not covered by the warranty, we will notify you as to the reason. You can then decide if you:
    1. Want the unit repaired (billed at our normal repair rates)
    2. OR
    3. Want to purchase a replacement unit.

    Shipping charges will be additional.

  1. The turn-around time for repairs and/or replacement units varies depending on the product, the type and cause of the failure, the availability of components to effect repairs, and the availability of replacement products. We will make every effort to make repairs and/or or send replacement units as quickly as possible.

Advance Replacement Procedure for Product being Returned

  1. Purchase an advance replacement unit.
  1. Return the original product to us with shipping charges pre-paid to:
    • VERSITRON, Inc.

    • Attn: RMA #                (insert RMA # you were issued)
  • Make sure the unit is packaged carefully so as to prevent any damage during shipment.
  • Include a written description of the defect and any symptoms exhibited by the unit.
  • Include any power supplies and accessories with the unit being returned.
  1. Upon receipt of the product, we will perform a diagnostic evaluation and testing to determine the cause of the failure and if the failure is covered under the scope of the warranty.
  1. If the failure is covered by the warranty we will refund the purchase price and shipping charges (UPS Ground rate only) for the advance replacement unit purchased in Step 2 above.
  1. If the failure is not covered by the warranty, we will notify you as to the reason. You can then decide if you want to:
    1. Pay for the repair, if repairable. Any repairs will be billed at our normal repair rates.
    2. Purchase a replacement unit as a spare
    3. Have us return the unit to you without repair
    4. Discard the unit

    Shipping charges will be additional.

VERSITRON LIFETIME WARRANTY

All VERSITRON products are covered by a Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. This coverage is applicable to the original purchaser and is not transferable.

We repair, or at our option, replace parts/products that, during normal usage and operation, are proven to be defective during the time you own the products, provided that said products and parts are still manufactured and/or available. Such repair/replacement is subsequent to receipt of your product at our facility and our diagnostic evaluation and review of the unit.

This warranty does not cover damage to products caused by misuse, mishandling, power surges, accident, improper installation, neglect, alteration, improper maintenance, or other causes which are not normal and customary applications of the products and for which they were not intended. No other warranty is expressed or implied, and VERSITRON is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages or losses.
