VERSITRON’s 10-port managed industrial switch model SF71060MA is a ruggedized switch designed for challenging industrial environments. It is a standard layer 2 switch with eight 10/100/1000Base-T Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 ports to connect nearby Fast Ethernet and Gigabit networking devices and two 100/1000Base-SX/LX SFP type ports for high-bandwidth, long-distance connections.
This 10 Gigabit managed switch has non-blocking, store-and-forward switching architecture, back pressure, and IEEE 802.3x PAUSE Frame Flow Control mechanisms that work in combination to assure efficient data transfer wit hout packet loss. The RJ45 ports have an auto-negotiation feature that helps automatically detect the type of connection, such as half or full duplex and speeds such as 10/100/1000 Mbps. Adding to this, the auto MDI/MDIX supports seamless integration on networking devices. Auto MDI/MDIX can easily adjust their signals to match the connected device, eliminating the need for new cables.
VERSITRON’s 10-port managed industrial switch can be configured in ring or point-to-point setups, ensuring network redundancy. The Embedded Surveillance Device Management System enables real-time monitoring of the switch's health. It allows users to troubleshoot proactively, thereby assuring optimal network performance.
The SFP ports enable flexible network configurations using SFP transceivers offered by VERSITRON. These transceivers allow users to optimize the value of their fiber investments in environments where electromagnetic interference is a key concern, such as industrial units. The switch is adaptable to different network demands. It supports interchangeable SFPs for different fiber types, distances, and connectors, enabling customization depending on the application requirements. This switch assures versatility in deployment as you can connect it over single or multimode fiber cables for up to 100 km.
This 10-port industrial Ethernet switch is designed to withstand operational challenges such as vibrations, surges, ambient temperatures, and shocks in industrial environments. It features redundant dual power supply inputs, 4KV Ethernet surge protection, and assures superior reliability across a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to 80°C. The switch is offered with a compact, corrosion-resistant case with a DIN rail attachment that enhances its suitability for industrial environments.
