The VERSITRON VersiVision Series multiplexers simultaneously transmit four channels of 8-bit digitally encoded broadcast quality video, and two channels of bi-directional data over one multimode or singlemode optical fiber. The modules are directly compatible with NTSC, PAL, or SECAM CCTV camera systems and support RS-485, RS-422 and RS-232 data protocols. These muxes are typically used in applications where cameras have PTZ capability and can also send forward data to the monitoring location.

Plug and Play design ensures adjustment-free installation and operation. LED indicators are provided for instantly monitoring system status. A typical installation utilizes a 4-channel transmitter unit at the camera end of the link, connected via a single fiber optic cable, to a 4-channel receiver unit at the monitoring end of the link. Devices are available for either standalone or rackmount installation.
