Attention 10Base Users:
This product will allow you to get 100Base speeds over your 10Base network!
Once the 10Base signal is converted to fiber, the signal will then travel 100 Mbps when using the "Double-Duty" 10/100 media converter.
These converters are standalone devices, but they can also be installed in a choice of 4 rack-mount chassis. Chassis options include regular power, managed regular power, redundant power, and managed redundant power. In addition, the M727xS boasts options of long-haul optics with distance capability up to 100km.
KEY FEATURES
